Rocking the Ages: The Yankelovich Report on Generational Marketing.  J.Walker Smith & Ann Clurman. Harper Business, 1997. Marketing information for three adult generations. Fun to read.

Growing Up Digital: The Rise of the Net Generation. Don Tapscott. McGraw Hill, 1998. An excellent book about the Millennial's or Net Generation. Focuses on the effect of digital technology on the youngest generation.

Another Country: Navigating the Emotional Terrain of Our Elders. Mary Pipher. Riverhead Books, 1999. A wonderful book, especially for Baby Boomers who are helping their parents "navigate through old age."

Millennials Rising: The Next Great Generation.  Neil Howe & William Strauss. Vintage Books, 2000. The most comprehensive book available about today's newest generation.

13th Gen: Abort, Retry, Ignore, Fail? Neil Howe & Bill Strauss. Vintage Books, 1993. A great in-depth sociological study of Generation X. Full of cartoons and quotes, sidebars and charts, you will learn something new every time you pick it up. 

Prime Time: How Baby Boomers Will Revolutionize Retirement and Transform America. Marc Freedman. BBS Public Affairs, 1999. Probably most interesting to Boomers, this book redefines retirement and old age and predicts the changes this powerful generation will make.

Framing Youth: 10 Myths about the Next Generation. Mike A. Males. Common Courage Press, 1999. A great book about the Millennial Generation that debunks myths like, "Today's teens are more violent than ever," and "Teen drug abuse has skyrocketed."

Boom, Bust & Echo: How to Profit from the Coming Demographic.  Shift.David K. Foot. Macfarlane Walter & Ross, 1996. The Canadian version of Generations.

American Generations. Susan Mitchell. New Strategist Publications, 1998.A sourcebook of demographic facts and figures. It contains over 200 charts and graphs.
